Job summary

Associated Insurance and Risk Management Advisors is seeking a Vice President, Team Lead for our Commercial Lines group. You will manage a mid-to-large book as the primary client contact and lead a team of Account Managers and CSRs with a focus on service quality and growth.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in Commercial Lines as a Senior Account Manager or Account Executive, plus strong leadership and collaboration with producers to win business and ensure client objectives are met.

Qualifications

• Resident P&C Producer License is required.
• Middle Market experience is required.
• 10+ years in Senior Account Management / Account Executive roles.
• Contract and Lease review experience.
• Proficiency with Applied Systems Epic.
• Knowledge of insurance carrier appetite and underwriting guidelines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead a mid-to-large commercial lines book and supervise Account Managers and CSRs.
• Collaborate with producers on marketing new business and renewals and document actions.
• Analyze client objectives and compare plans for suitability.
• Manage client accounts including renewals, submissions, markets, and endorsements.
• Attend meetings in person or remotely to support closing new business.
• Document client conversations and update management systems.
• Serve as liaison between clients and carriers to resolve service issues.
• Develop new business from existing accounts and pursue cross-selling.
• Ensure team meets Service Level Agreements and follows policy standards.
• Coach and mentor team members; identify training needs and drive development.
