Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Manager - Commercial Lines to lead a book of business with a focus on retention and growth. This remote/hybrid role supports Eastern and Central time zones with on-site flexibility for occasional meetings.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of account management experience or 7+ years in the insurance industry
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs
• Active licensing; CIC or equivalent designation preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring retention and supporting new business.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for the account management team.
• Direct daily activities and workflow of the account management team.
• Handle policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Renewals management and client submissions.
• Monitor accounts receivable and delinquent balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
