Job summary

C&N is seeking a Commercial Lending Relationship Manager III to grow and manage a robust loan portfolio, developing new client relationships and delivering tailored lending solutions that move businesses forward.

You will spend about 60% of your time in the field meeting business owners and influencers, collaborating with credit and internal teams, and guiding larger clients under leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a directly related field and 4–8 years of related experience or an equivalent combination.
• Well-developed abilities in critical thinking, research, communication, detail orientation, analytical skills, and basic understanding of credit.

Responsibilities

• Building and expanding a high-quality commercial loan portfolio by developing relationships with new and existing clients and referral sources.
• Spending approximately 60% of your time in the field meeting with business owners, centers of influence, and prospects to drive growth.
• Managing moderately complex loan relationships independently and beginning to work with larger, more sophisticated clients under leadership.
• Collaborating with credit and internal teams during underwriting, applying sound judgment and policy knowledge.
• Maintaining current financials and timely credit reviews to manage risk and portfolio health.
• Advising business clients on financial strategies and partnering with internal specialists to deliver holistic banking solutions.
• Exercising lending authority within assigned limits and referring larger loans for approval.
