Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, banking or related field required.
• Minimum of 5–10 years commercial lending experience with loan structuring and credit analysis.
• Extensive knowledge of bank products, lending regulations, and local business community preferred.
• Strong sales, interpersonal and negotiating skills; detail oriented and analytical.

Responsibilities

• Actively participates in a business development plan to increase their loan and deposit portfolio of commercial clients within a SouthState metro market.
• Develop consultative relationships with prospects and clients to deliver banking solutions.
• Underwrite loan requests within Bank policies; ensure accurate and complete loan packages for Credit approval.
• Manage and service assigned loan portfolio; maintain required documentation.
• Ensure compliance with laws, policies and regulations; provide superior client service.
• Builds and maintains relationships with COIs and community to enhance the Bank’s image.
