Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma, BA Degree preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years' experience as a lender, strong interpersonal skills, strong PC skills, previous banking experience
• Knowledge: Excellent customer relations and communication skills, planning and organizational skills, good decision-making skills, excellent writing skills, training and oral presentation skills, customer service orientation, initiative

Responsibilities

• Interviews loan applicants and collects and analyzes financial data to determine credit worthiness.
• Establishes and negotiates loan terms including costs, repayment method and collateral.
• Approves up to the Lending Authority amount.
• Collects and analyzes information reflecting current credit worthiness of customers and loans.
• Monitors loan repayment activities and takes action to collect past-due accounts.
• Opens new deposit accounts and explains bank services; handles transfers and maintenance within limits.
• Serves customers quickly, accurately, efficiently, and confidentially per Customer Service Standards.
• Develops new business by contacting prospects and customers; cross-sells bank services.
