Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, banking, or related field required; Graduation from a recognized school of banking is an asset.
• Minimum of 10+ years commercial lending or portfolio management experience; experience should include loan structuring and credit analysis responsibilities.
• Extensive knowledge of Bank products, services, procedures, and lending regulations; strong local business community acumen; excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Grow loan and deposit portfolios for commercial clients in a South State metro market.
• Develop consultative relationships with prospects and clients to deliver banking solutions.
• Underwrite loan requests per Bank policies; ensure packages are accurate for credit approval.
• Manage and service assigned loan portfolio.
• Ensure all documentation for loans and deposits is complete and compliant.
• Collaborate with Credit to properly risk grade loans and adjust as needed.
