Sunwest Bank in Scottsdale, AZ seeks a Senior Portfolio Manager to grow and protect commercial relationships through underwriting, portfolio oversight, and strategic client engagement.

You will analyze financial statements, manage risk, and collaborate with lenders and professionals to deliver sound credit decisions and sustained portfolio growth. This role is onsite with standard banking hours and a focus on client service and compliance.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years lending, credit, portfolio management experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax-return analysis, balance sheets, income statements, and cash-flow analysis.
• Ability to evaluate complex credit requests, identify risk, and communicate recommendations clearly.

Responsabilidades

• Underwrite and recommend new loans, lines, and credit actions per Bank policies and lending guidelines.
• Manage a portfolio of mature loan and deposit relationships with focus on client retention, cross-selling, and responsible growth.
• Assess financial statements, tax returns, cash flow, collateral and other information to determine creditworthiness and risk.
• Keep credit files complete and ready for Credit Administration and regulatory review; resolve underwriting conditions and pre-funding QC issues.
• Coordinate lending process from initial request through closing to ensure timely decisions and accurate transactions.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with borrowers, advisors, branch teams, operations, cash management, and product experts.
• Develop new loan and deposit relationships and represent the Bank at marketing and industry events.
• Provide guidance and training to team members while maintaining compliance with laws, regulations, and Bank policies.
