Job summary

Southwest Heritage Bank in Scottsdale is seeking a Portfolio Manager to supervise and underwrite credit information on current and prospective customers, ensuring loans fit credit standards and business goals.

You will lead SBA, CRE, and commercial loan negotiations, monitor portfolio risk, and provide timely credit presentations, while collaborating with lenders and operations to maximize return and maintain compliance.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in business and 3–5 years banking experience.
• Extensive experience in lending activities, terminology, products and services.
• Strong knowledge of compliance regulations and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Gathers data from customers and prospects and analyzes financial statements.
• Prepares credit presentations for new money requests and annual reviews.
• Develops accurate risk ratings for loan relationships and monitors portfolio health.
• Ensures timely renewals and annual relationship reviews.
• Coordinates processing and documentation for approved loans.
• Maintains knowledge of market trends affecting lending portfolios.
