Job summary

Golden 1 Credit Union is seeking a Sr Commercial Loan Officer to lead business development and produce commercial loan volume from California-based clients. You will mentor loan staff, manage risk and ensure top-tier member service, while aligning production with strategic goals.

The role emphasizes relationship-building, portfolio management, and adherence to applicable lending and compliance standards within a remote California context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration or related field required.
• Master’s Degree or MBA preferred.
• 8+ years commercial banking and commercial loan origination experience required.

Responsibilities

• Manage, grow and execute business development activities and maintain pipeline statistics surrounding these activities.
• Individually generate annual commercial real estate loan production as agreed by management.
• Develop, implement, and maintain effective production strategies to achieve production goals.
• Mentor and lead business loan officers and support team in loan processes and member service best practices.
• Ensure exceptional member service, loan quality, and loan retention by building relationships with California businesses.
