Job summary

First Northern Bank is seeking a Commercial Loan Officer in Sacramento, CA to develop and evaluate customer loan applications, originate and renew Commercial & Industrial loans, and deepen relationships with banking clients.

You will analyze financial statements, present credit analyses, negotiate terms, and monitor portfolio risk while ensuring compliance with bank policies. This full-time role offers growth and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ related experience in commercial lending and strong understanding of underwriting standards for commercial loans.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; and
• Strong technical skill with expertise in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Generate new loan opportunities from existing portfolio clients and outside sources.
• Originate and renew Commercial & Industrial loans and Owner Occupied Real Estate loans.
• Promote and cross-sell other Bank products and services to customers.
• Interview applicants and gather information for loan applications.
• Review applicant financials and credit to determine feasibility of loan approval.
• Prepare and present credit analyses and loan recommendations.
