Job summary

Citizens Bank is seeking a Commercial Lender to aggressively develop new business, maintain client relationships, and manage credit and loan structuring. The role emphasizes cross-selling, deposit growth, and portfolio management within a team-oriented bank environment.

You will engage in networking events, evaluate client needs, and coordinate with staff to resolve issues while maintaining high customer satisfaction. This is a full-time on-site position in Kilgore, TX.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in banking, finance or business preferred.
• Formal credit training or underwriting knowledge.
• 5-10 years of credit lending experience in a commercial bank.
• Ability to expand loans, client relationships and cross-sell bank products.
• Familiarity with sales, loan processing and closing processes.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; proven portfolio management.

Responsibilities

• Aggressively seeks and obtains quality new business via calls, referrals and cross selling.
• Builds and maintains relationships with high customer satisfaction.
• Handles sales, credit analysis, proper loan structuring and client interviews.
• Contributes to deposit growth by cross selling bank products.
• Acts as principal account and relationship manager for clients.
• Performs needs assessment and problem solving for clients.
• Attends social, civic and networking events with clients.
• Collaborates with bank staff to solve customer problems.
• Performs other duties as directed by management.
