Zurich North America is hiring a Senior Legal Claims Handler to manage high complexity commercial surety claims from start to finish. This is a remote role reporting to a Commercial Surety Claims Manager, with the flexibility of a home-based office in the United States.

You will analyze liability, bond obligations, and damages, build claim strategies, and monitor reserves while communicating with principals, brokers, and internal teams. A JD and extensive insurance legal experience are required.

Qualifikationen

• Juris Doctor and 5+ years of experience in the Legal area.
• JD and 5+ years of legal practice experience in the insurance area.
• Must obtain and maintain required adjuster license(s) and stay updated on insurance regulations.

• Manage a caseload of high complexity commercial surety claims from start to finish.
• Analyze liability, exposure, bond obligations, and damages with applicable law.
• Set reserves and negotiate settlements within authority limits.
