Job summary

Zurich North America is seeking a Senior Claims Specialist to advance a claims career within the Commercial General Liability Team. The role supports a hybrid work model with in-office attendance as needed, reporting from Rocky Hill, CT or other North America offices.

You will interpret General Liability policies, analyze coverage, and resolve multi-party claims with moderate to high exposure. Collaboration with customers, vendors, and brokers is essential to deliver a superior claims experience.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor with 2+ years of experience in Claims and/or Litigation Management or 6+ years with a Bachelor’s Degree in Claims and/or Litigation Management or 8+ years with a High School Diploma Equivalent in Claims and/or Litigation Management.
• Must obtain and maintain required adjuster license(s).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of insurance regulations, markets, and products.

Responsibilities

• Handle multi-party commercial line claims of moderate to high exposure and complexity within specific authority limits.
• Collaborate with internal and external points of contact including customers, vendors, suppliers, and brokers to provide a quality claims experience.
• Learn and apply established protocols and industry best practices to ensure efficient, effective claims handling and customer service.
