Job summary

Insurance Office of America seeks a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines to provide administrative and customer service support to the account team, under supervision of an Account Manager, Account Executive, or Producer, ensuring accurate renewals and sound coverages while safeguarding against liability.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in insurance client service, strong communication, and solid MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs
• Active licensing required, CISR designation preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• High School Diploma (or equivalent)

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities and workflow of team support and Account staff
• Track policy expirations and ensure renewals are processed on time
• Handle policy endorsements, audits, cancellations, and related tasks
• Support new and renewal business: submissions, coverages, pricing, proposals
• Review contracts to ensure proper coverages
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances
• Maintain agency management systems and data accuracy
• Communicate workload status with the account team
• Deliver proactive, high-quality service
