Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines to support the account team, Producer and/or assigned group of accounts. You will help with renewals, endorsements, submissions, and client research, under guidance of an Account Manager, AE, or Producer.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of insurance customer service, active licensing (CISR preferred), strong MS Office skills, and a commitment to service excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing; CISR designation preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking and organization.
• Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities and workflow of Team Support/Receptionist, Account Assistant, and/or Account Associate.
• Track policy expirations and ensure renewals are processed accurately and on time.
• Handle endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and billing tasks.
• Support new and renewal business: research clients, gather underwriting info, prepare submissions, negotiate coverages and pricing, bind coverage.
• Review contracts to ensure proper coverages.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Communicate workload status and issues with the account team.
• Deliver service excellence and continuously improve performance.
