Job summary

Associated Insurance and Risk Management Advisors in Rolling Meadows, IL, is seeking a seasoned Senior Account Manager to join our Commercial Lines team and provide strategic client guidance while delivering exceptional service.

You will leverage your insurance expertise to manage relationships, coordinate renewals, and liaise with carriers to optimize client outcomes. Hybrid work schedule offered; license and 3–5 years of experience required.

Qualifications

• Illinois Property and Casualty License, required.
• 3–5 years as an Account Manager with mid to large commercial lines experience.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a large book of business.
• Able to work independently with little guidance from Team Lead, required.
• A resource to the team and provides guidance on marketing and/or coverage to Account Managers and CSRs, required.

Responsibilities

• Works closely with Producers and other Associated personnel on all aspects of client procedures.
• Markets new business and renewal submissions for new and existing clients and documents accordingly.
• Acquires understanding of clients’ insurance objectives and analyzes and compares insurance plans to determine suitability.
• Review and service client accounts by obtaining information for renewals; prepare applications and proposals, negotiate with underwriters, and process policies for endorsements.
• Documents conversations with clients and carrier reps and updates management systems as needed.
• Acts as liaison between clients and insurance carriers to resolve service issues.
