Job summary

SDI Staffing in Schaumburg, IL seeks a Commercial Lines Senior Account Manager / Account Executive to manage a heavy, complex book of 20 large accounts. The role includes pre-renewal meetings, renewal presentations, and marketing to drive new business while supporting Producers.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in independent agencies, strong proposals and negotiations experience, and a valid IL P&C license. Hybrid work with weekly in-office presence is offered, plus travel to client meetings and

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of recent experience as a Senior Account Manager or Account Executive in Commercial Insurance at an independent agency.
• Experience with large, complex accounts and minimum of $250,000 in annual premium.
• Experience preparing proposals, contract reviews, marketing, presentations, and negotiations with underwriting.
• Detail-oriented, organized, strong time management and communication skills; professional demeanor with clients.
• Internal meetings are business casual; client meetings require business attire (suit jacket).

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for insureds on complex matters and lead pre-renewal meetings.
• Coordinate renewal correspondence and renewal presentations with clients and producers.
• Market and prepare proposals; present to new business opportunities.
• Mentor and delegate tasks to support staff as needed.
