Job summary

Insurance Office of America seeks a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines to support the account team remotely with occasional on-site needs in the Eastern/Central Time zones. Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing required; CISR designation preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities and workflow of Team Support/Receptionist or Account Assistant.
• Track policy expirations and ensure renewals are processed on time.
• Handle policy endorsements, audits, cancellations, and related tasks.
• Support new and renewal business processes: submissions, coverages, pricing, proposals, binding.
• Review contracts for proper coverages.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Communicate workload status and issues with the account team.
• Deliver proactive, high-quality service and maintain policy compliance.
