Job summary

Rite Air Mechanical is seeking an experienced HVACR Installation Manager to lead commercial projects from pre-construction through commissioning. This role requires stepping in with hands-on knowledge, coordinating crews, and delivering on schedule and budget.

You will review drawings, mentor installation teams, ensure safety and quality, and build strong relationships with customers and contractors while navigating multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on commercial HVACR installation experience is required.
• Previous experience as a commercial HVACR technician is required.
• Experience leading installation crews, foremen, or large commercial HVACR projects.
• Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems, refrigeration systems, piping, controls, startup procedures, and commissioning.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, specifications, and submittals.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
• OSHA certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license with the ability to travel to project sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple commercial HVACR installation projects from pre-construction planning through project completion.
• Review drawings, specifications, submittals, and equipment schedules to ensure readiness before installation.
• Verify material requirements and parts lists to ensure crews have what they need.
• Coordinate labor, subcontractors, equipment, deliveries, and scheduling to keep projects moving.
• Provide technical leadership and support to field installation teams.
• Conduct regular job site visits to monitor progress and quality.
• Troubleshoot installation challenges using field experience and develop practical solutions.
• Ensure installations comply with specifications, safety standards, and codes.
• Oversee equipment startups, commissioning, punch lists, and closeout.
• Build strong relationships with customers and contractors, vendors, and internal departments.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and progress updates.
• Mentor installation technicians and promote accountability.
