Job summary

Rite Air Mechanical, a growing commercial HVACR contractor, is seeking an Installation Manager to lead from the field and drive successful projects from start to finish. You will review drawings, coordinate manpower, and oversee startups, commissioning, and customer turnover while keeping schedules and budgets in check.

Strong field leadership and practical problem solving are essential. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate and you will work with seasoned professionals

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on commercial HVACR installation experience is required.
• Experience leading installation crews, foremen, or large commercial HVACR projects.
• Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems, refrigeration systems, piping, controls, startup procedures, and commissioning.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, specifications, and submittals.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
• OSHA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple commercial HVACR installation projects from pre-construction planning through project completion.
• Review drawings, specifications, submittals, and equipment schedules to ensure projects are set up for success.
• Coordinate labor, subcontractors, equipment, deliveries, and scheduling to keep projects moving efficiently.
• Provide technical leadership and support to field installation teams, answering questions and resolving issues.
• Conduct regular job site visits to monitor progress, quality, and identify potential issues.
• Oversee startups, commissioning activities, punch lists, and project closeout.
