Job summary

Trane Technologies in Missouri is seeking an experienced HVAC technician to install, troubleshoot, and service commercial HVAC systems on customer sites. You will commission, repair, and startup equipment, collaborating with project teams and customers to ensure uptime and satisfaction.

The role requires a High School diploma, 5+ years in HVAC, MS Office familiarity, a valid driver's license, and EPA certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; 5+ years HVAC experience; technical training preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office and handheld devices (smartphone/tablet).
• Valid driver's license; EPA certification required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with team leader and customer to understand requirements for on-site installation and repairs by forecasting issues, gathering materials and synchronizing on-site work.
• Represent the company by serving as the direct customer contact and diagnose and repair equipment and systems at the customer site.
• Uses software and hand-tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair units.
• Maintain flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed, including possible overnight stays.
• Enforce safety standards and manage company assets with proper recording and security.
