Job summary

Casto Technical Services is seeking an Experienced HVAC Service Technician - Commercial to service and repair commercial HVAC systems in the Northeastern WV and surrounding areas, based from Hagerstown, MD with a company van provided.

The role requires at least five years of experience, with knowledge of rooftop units, VRF systems, and a solid understanding of HVAC controls and electrical systems. EPA regulations compliance and strong problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of commercial HVAC service experience.
• Experience servicing rooftop units, split systems, boilers, chillers, package units, VRF systems.
• Thorough understanding of commercial HVAC systems, controls, electrical circuits, refrigeration circuits, and mechanical equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of EPA refrigerant handling regulations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on a wide variety of HVAC systems.
• Inspect equipment to identify deficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
• Document service calls, repairs, parts used, and recommendations.
• Maintain compliance with EPA regulations and codes.
• Follow company safety policies and maintain a safe work environment.
• Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, and management.
• Maintain tools, equipment, vehicle, and inventory.
• Participate in on-call rotations and overtime as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
