Job summary

FirstCall Mechanical is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician in Tampa, FL. The role requires an active EPA Certification, a can-do attitude, and strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and service heating/air conditioning systems and related equipment.

You will maintain PM contracts, service mini-splits and RTUs, and coordinate with dispatch to ensure on-time completion while delivering elite customer service.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Active EPA certification is required for this role.
• OSHA 10 certification is preferred and encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose causes of problems and repairs in HVAC systems, refrigeration, and food service equipment with accuracy.
• Perform maintenance, service repairs, install new units, or replace parts for 15 tons+ systems.
• Maintain larger PM contracts with more than 5 units.
• Repair or replace defective parts in units and their controls.
• Service and troubleshoot mini-splits and smaller RTUs for 15 tons or less.
• Coordinate with Dispatch to ensure timely completion of jobs.
• Maintain preventative maintenance schedules for customers.
• Provide elite customer service on every call.
