Job summary

Star Service, Inc. in Houston, TX is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Technician to join our team serving the Gulf Coast.

The role focuses on diagnosing and repairing rooftop units, split systems, boilers, chillers, pumps, and controls, with emphasis on safety and customer service. You will read blueprints, perform preventative maintenance, complete service tickets, and participate in on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial HVAC service experience required.
• EPA Universal Certification required.
• HVAC journeyman’s license preferred or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC systems including rooftop units, split systems, boilers, chillers, pumps, and controls.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Accurately complete service tickets and communicate findings to the office and customer.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain strong client relationships.
• Ensure compliance with local HVAC codes and safety regulations.
• Participate in on-call rotation for emergency service calls.
