Star Service, a Fidelity Company, in Houston, TX, is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Technician to join our team in the Houston area. The role involves diagnosing and repairing HVAC systems, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring compliance with HVAC codes.

Qualified candidates will have 5+ years of commercial HVAC service experience, EPA Universal Certification, and a valid driver's license. Journeyman’s license preferred or the ability to obtain.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial HVAC service experience.
• EPA Universal Certification required.
• HVAC journeyman’s license preferred or ability to obtain.
• Strong understanding of electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, including rooftop units, split systems, boilers, chillers, pumps, and controls.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Accurately complete service tickets and communicate findings to the office and customer.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain strong client relationships.
• Ensure compliance with local HVAC codes and safety regulations.
• Participate in on-call rotation for emergency service calls (as applicable).
