Job summary

FirstCall Mechanical is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician II to join our Chesapeake team. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, EPA certification, and a responsive customer-service mindset to service heating and cooling systems for commercial facilities.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in a commercial HVAC setting, be able to work flexible hours, and operate with a high level of reliability on call shifts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in commercial HVAC.
• Active EPA Certification (required)
• OSHA 10 Certification
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record

Responsibilities

• Diagnose causes of problems in HVAC systems and related equipment.
• Perform maintenance and service repairs, install new units or replace parts for 15 tons+.
• Maintain larger PM contracts with multiple units.
• Repair or replace defective parts in units and their controls.
• Service and troubleshooting of mini-splits and RTUs <= 15 tons.
• Coordinate with Dispatch to schedule and complete jobs.
• Maintain preventative maintenance schedules for customers.
