Job summary

DOC Services is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC/R Field Service Technician to travel to customer sites to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment. You will play an important role in keeping equipment safe, reliable, and operating efficiently.

Responsibilities include diagnosing, repairing, preventive maintenance, and documenting activities while ensuring safety standards and OSHA compliance across diverse commercial environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5 years of commercial HVAC/R experience, including walk-in freezers and ice machines.
• Valid EPA certification is required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and mobile apps for work orders.
• Ability to train on additional equipment and travel to customer sites.
• Must provide personal tools to perform maintenance and repairs.
• Strong troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ability to work independently and communicate professionally.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment, including walk-in freezers, reach-in freezers, coolers, and ice machines.
• Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Identify and resolve electrical, electronic, and mechanical issues.
• Inspect equipment, identify defective components, and complete repairs using tools.
• Identify parts and supplies needed and resolve service calls efficiently.
• Document service activities and communicate updates with store managers, regional supervisor, and the assigned office administrator.
• Maintain company vehicle and tools in good condition.
• Follow safety procedures and OSHA requirements.
• Perform other duties to support customers and team.
