Job summary

Cline's Heating & Air in Spokane Valley is seeking a Lead Commercial HVAC Installer to lead, install, and commission complex systems on commercial and new-construction projects. This role demands hands-on leadership, problem-solving, and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is mandatory.
• At least two years of HVAC experience in commercial/new-construction.
• EPA certification and driver license with clean record; WA license preferred.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings/HVAC wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end HVAC installations on commercial/new-construction projects.
• Read blueprints and specifications to determine layout and requirements.
• Install ductwork, piping, condensers, air handlers, furnaces, heat pumps, boilers, rooftops, and controls.
• Commission systems, start-up checks, calibrate controls, verify airflow and refrigerant charge.
• Mentor and train installation crews; ensure quality and safety standards.
• Coordinate with PMs, GCs, electricians, plumbers to keep on schedule and budget.
• Conduct on-site troubleshooting and real-time problem solving.
