Job summary
CPI Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electrical in Mount Vernon, WA is seeking an experienced HVAC Lead Installer to lead residential installation projects from start to finish.
You will install furnaces, heat pumps, air conditioners, ductless systems, and related equipment, mentor apprentices, ensure code compliance, and collaborate with dispatch and service teams to deliver safe, high-quality results.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of residential HVAC installation experience.
- Lead installation crews preferred.
- Knowledge of heat pumps, gas furnaces, air conditioning, ductless mini-splits, and sheet metal/duct work.
Responsibilities
- Lead residential HVAC installation projects from start to finish.
- Install furnaces, heat pumps, air conditioners, ductless systems, ductwork, and IAQ equipment.
- Ensure installations meet specs, codes, and standards.
- Mentor apprentices and junior technicians.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners throughout installation.
- Complete installation documentation, photos, and paperwork.
- Perform system startups, testing, and commissioning.
- Maintain safe, organized work environment.
- Operate company vehicles, tools, and equipment.
- Collaborate with dispatch, warehouse, and service teams.
