Job summary

MCG Mechanical is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Project Estimator to support our growing commercial HVAC sales organization. You will work with CAMs, operations leadership, and installation teams to develop accurate estimates for equipment replacements and complex projects.

Ideal candidates have extensive commercial HVAC knowledge, can walk mechanical rooms or rooftops to determine requirements, estimate labor, materials, and subcontractor costs, and communicate clearly with sales teams

Qualifications

5+ years of commercial HVAC estimating, project management, or relevant field experience.
Strong understanding of commercial HVAC equipment and mechanical systems.
Experience estimating equipment replacements and mechanical projects.
Ability to independently walk job sites and develop detailed scopes of work.
Proficiency with Excel and estimating software.
Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.

Responsibilities

Develop detailed estimates for small, medium, and large commercial HVAC replacement projects.
Perform site visits alongside CAMs to evaluate existing equipment and installation requirements.
Lead estimating efforts for large commercial HVAC replacement and retrofit projects.
Ensure estimates reflect profitability and align with company goals.
