Job summary

Gabriel Group is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Project Estimator to support our growing commercial HVAC sales organization. The role involves developing accurate estimates for equipment replacements and mechanical projects, walking job sites, and coordinating with CAMs, operations leadership, and installation teams.

The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial HVAC background, be technically knowledgeable, and able to manage multiple estimates with deadlines in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial HVAC estimating, project management, or relevant field experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of commercial HVAC equipment and mechanical systems.
• Experience estimating commercial HVAC equipment replacements and mechanical projects.
• Proficiency with Excel and estimating software.
• Ability to independently walk job sites and develop detailed scopes of work.
• Experience reviewing mechanical drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed estimates for small, medium, and large commercial HVAC replacement projects.
• Perform site visits alongside CAMs to evaluate existing equipment and installation requirements.
• Accurately estimate labor hours, materials, equipment, subcontractors, cranes, rigging, and other project expenses.
• Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
• Lead estimating efforts for large commercial HVAC replacement and retrofit projects.
• Ensure estimates are accurate, complete, and aligned with profitability expectations.
