Job summary
Interstate AC Service is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Project Estimator to support our growing commercial HVAC sales organization in Nashville. You will work closely with CAMs, operations leadership, and installation teams to deliver accurate estimates for equipment replacements and complex mechanical projects.
The ideal candidate has extensive HVAC knowledge, can read drawings, and walk mechanical rooms or rooftops to determine requirements.
Qualifications
- Strong commercial HVAC knowledge and field experience.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and develop accurate estimates.
- Experience estimating equipment changes and complex mechanical projects.
- Ability to visit job sites with CAMs and evaluate installation requirements.
- Ensure estimates align with profitability targets.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with operations and installation teams to reflect field conditions.
- Provide timely estimates to keep sales opportunities moving forward.
- Lead estimating efforts for large replacement and retrofit projects.
- Review drawings, specs, and site photos to verify requirements.
- Coordinate with vendors for competitive pricing and timely delivery.
