Gulfstream Strategic Placements, LLC is seeking an experienced HVAC Estimator to prepare take-offs, estimate projects, and build winning bids for large commercial HVAC ventures in the San Francisco area. The role includes mentoring junior estimators and coordinating with contractors, designers and engineers to refine cost data.

Candidates should have 4+ years in HVAC estimating, familiarity with OSHPD and state codes, and hands-on experience with Trimble, QuickPen/Accubid, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of estimating field experience on large commercial HVAC projects.
• Knowledge of OSHPD and state building codes preferred.
• Experience with Trimble, QuickPen/Accubid, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare HVAC estimate take-offs.
• Estimate projects and major buyouts.
• Build profitable winning bids for upcoming projects.
• Manage HVACEstimating Department and mentor junior estimators.
• Coordinate with general contractors, designers and engineers on changes for estimates.
• Meet with clients to gather data for project costs.
