Job summary

gpac LLC. in Nebraska seeks a seasoned Commercial Flooring Project Manager to oversee projects from pre-construction to completion.

You will coordinate customers, general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and field crews, review plans, manage schedules and budgets, and ensure quality aligns with contract specifications. The ideal candidate has extensive knowledge of flooring systems, excellent communication, and proven ability to handle multiple projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial flooring project management experience.
• Strong knowledge of commercial flooring products and installation methods.
• Experience working with general contractors and commercial construction projects.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, purchasing, and cost control.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and MeasureSquare.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to commercial job sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial flooring projects from estimating handoff through final completion.
• Review plans, specifications, scopes of work, and project schedules.
• Coordinate materials, deliveries, installers, subcontractors, and job-site activities.
• Communicate regularly with general contractors, owners, architects, vendors, and internal teams.
• Monitor project budgets, costs, change orders, and profitability.
• Prepare and maintain project schedules and track progress against milestones.
• Conduct or participate in job-site meetings and project walkthroughs.
• Identify potential project issues and develop timely solutions.
• Ensure flooring installations meet contract specifications and quality standards.
• Review measurements, quantities, material requirements, and installation details.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, punch lists, and closeout documentation.
• Maintain accurate project records and documentation.
• Promote and enforce company safety policies and job-site requirements.
• Build strong relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers, and installation partners.
