Job summary

gpac seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale commercial construction projects from preconstruction through completion. You will oversee budgets, schedules, contracts, procurement, and financial performance, while maintaining strong client relationships and guiding project teams to successful delivery.

You will mentor Project Managers, APMs, and Engineers, manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and risk, and work with field teams to ensure quality and profitable project execution.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of commercial construction project management experience.
• Proven experience managing complex and/or large-scale commercial projects.
• Strong understanding of contracts, budgets, scheduling, and cost control.
• Construction Management degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale commercial construction projects through all phases.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, contracts, procurement, and financial performance.
• Manage owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal project teams.
• Lead preconstruction activities including budgeting, estimating, scheduling, and scope development.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, contracts, and project documentation.
• Identify project risks and develop effective solutions to maintain schedule and profitability.
• Mentor and provide leadership to Project Managers, APMs, and Project Engineers.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and ensure expectations are consistently met.
• Work closely with Superintendents and field teams to ensure quality and successful project execution.
