Job summary

gpac is seeking an experienced Commercial Flooring Estimator to prepare accurate estimates for commercial flooring projects. The role requires reviewing architectural drawings, specifications, and bid documents, and performing detailed takeoffs for labor, materials, and installation needs.

You will help develop competitive pricing while protecting margins. Responsibilities include coordinating with general contractors, architects, and suppliers, issuing RFIs for clarification, and managing

Qualifications

5+ years of commercial flooring estimating experience preferred.
Ability to read and interpret architectural plans, drawings and finish schedules.
Proficiency with MS Excel and estimating/project-management software.

Responsibilities

Prepare accurate estimates and proposals for commercial flooring projects.
Review drawings, specifications, bid documents and finish schedules.
Perform detailed flooring takeoffs for labor, materials, and installation requirements.
Develop competitive pricing while maintaining gross margins.
Prepare bid proposals and supporting documentation.
Communicate with contractors, architects, suppliers, and subcontractors to clarify requirements.
Track bid deadlines and manage multiple estimates.
