Qualifications

• Ability to perform accurate material and labor takeoffs.
• Skill in reading architectural plans and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate estimates and proposals for commercial flooring projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, finish schedules, and bid documents.
• Perform detailed flooring takeoffs for labor, materials, and installation requirements.
• Analyze project scopes and identify risks and clarifications.
• Obtain and evaluate pricing from material and subcontractors.
• Develop competitive pricing to maintain gross margins.
• Prepare bid proposals and supporting documentation.
• Communicate with general contractors, architects, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Issue RFIs for plan clarifications and manage bid deadlines.
• Review addenda and incorporate changes into estimates.
