Job summary

Great Floors, a subsidiary of Artisan Design Group, is seeking a Flooring Estimator to deliver precise material take-offs and cost estimates for flooring projects across the Pacific Northwest. You will work with plans, vendor pricing, and internal teams to ensure accurate proposals that meet project requirements and timelines.

Ideal candidates have experience with measuring software (e.g., MeasureSquare) and strong Excel skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple

Qualifications

• AA degree, Trade Tech degree or three years of related experience or training in estimating software such as MeasureSquare, or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic estimating tools.
• Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate material take-offs and cost estimates for flooring projects based on plans, specifications, and project documentation.
• Review and interpret construction drawings, bid documents, and project revisions to ensure estimates reflect current project scope.
• Coordinate with vendors to obtain pricing and ensure estimates are aligned with current material costs.
• Develop and maintain estimating templates to support consistency and efficiency across projects.
• Utilize estimating software and Microsoft Excel to generate proposals and maintain accurate records.
• Monitor and respond to estimate requests, ensuring timely delivery of proposals to support project timelines.
• Manage multiple estimating assignments while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams to clarify project requirements and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain organized documentation for all estimates, including revisions and change orders.
• Follow company policies and procedures, including safety and compliance standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
