Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Commercial Estimator & Takeoff Specialist to lead and grow a project team in a dynamic commercial construction environment. You will develop detailed takeoffs, prepare cost estimates, and drive successful bids for hospitals, retail, government, and restoration projects.

The role emphasizes contract negotiation, cost control, and on-site coordination while leveraging Bluebeam, Viewpoint, and ISQFT to manage project documentation and communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of project management and estimation experience in commercial construction.
• Experience managing projects across hospitals, retail, government, and restoration.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage commercial construction projects from start to finish, including close-out.
• Perform detailed take-offs and prepare accurate cost estimates and budgets.
• Track and manage RFIs to ensure timely responses.
• Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers for favorable terms.
