Job summary

Jobot is recruiting a Project Manager / Estimator to lead projects from preconstruction through closeout, while supporting business development with accurate estimating and client relations. You will liaise with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• 5+ years of commercial construction estimating and/or project management experience.
• Experience with healthcare, corporate interiors, life sciences, education, or institutional projects preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, budgeting, scheduling, and contract administration.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Estimating & Preconstruction
• Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents.
• Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates.
• Solicit, evaluate, and level subcontractor and vendor proposals.
• Develop project budgets, scopes of work, and value engineering recommendations.
• Participate in bid reviews and client presentations.
• Manage multiple commercial construction projects simultaneously.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and procurement plans.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, clients, and field personnel.
• Monitor project costs and prepare financial forecasts.
• Manage change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.
• Conduct project meetings and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, contract requirements, and company procedures.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Collaborate closely with superintendents and field teams to drive project success.
• Identify project risks and implement proactive solutions.
