Textron's Bell division in Fort Worth, TX seeks a Senior Estimator, Commercial to support pre-proposal activities and develop price proposals for RFQs/RFPs in the aerospace sector.
The role collaborates with Sales, Contracts, Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain to build robust estimate packages, review inputs, and ensure compliance with FAR and ITAR requirements. A strong foundation in accounting/finance and advanced Excel skills are essential.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Math or other related field from an accredited university is required. MBA or Master's Degree in a related field is preferred
Two years of pricing, estimating, cost controls, business management, industrial engineering or related experience in the aerospace/US Department of Defense manufacturing industry is preferred
Basic knowledge of US Government contracting, experience in the development of price proposals under Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), or familiarity with commercial aerospace pricing practices is required
Advanced knowledge and experience using Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Access is required
Possess the necessary skills and knowledge of accounting systems and processes in order to properly apply the overhead costs, burden costs, pricing factors, and other applicable rates in the development of the price for a proposal
Specific to Commercial Role: Apttus, SAP, Enovia, and SalesForce experience is preferred.
Demonstrated ability to read blueprints is required.
Desirable qualities for the candidate would include good organizational skills, ability to work concurrently on multiple projects, strong communication skills, detail-oriented and excellent analytical ability
