Job summary

The Keystone Distinction Group is seeking an experienced Preconstruction Manager to lead commercial project estimates from start to finish. Based in Columbus, OH, you will drive the preconstruction phase, build key relationships, and present critical cost information to clients.

Requirements include 5-10 years of experience in commercial projects, strong takeoff and VE skills, and the ability to manage subcontractor bids and client presentations.

Qualifications

• Experience with commercial project estimation.
• Ability to lead preconstruction from start to finish.
• Strong communication with owners, architects, and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead, create, and complete entire project estimates.
• Perform detailed On-Screen Takeoffs.
• Develop preliminary preconstruction schedules.
• Formulate VE ideas and calculate costs.
• Research materials and source alternatives.
• Review and adjust estimates from team members.
• Manage staffing and General Condition requirements.
• Maintain market knowledge and unit pricing.
• Build and manage subcontractor bid lists.
• Drive subcontractors to bid and analyze bids.
• Present cost information to clients and architects.
