Aspiring Columbus, OH firm seeks a Preconstruction Manager to lead commercial project estimates from start to finish. Drive the preconstruction phase, build relationships with clients and architects, and present critical cost information throughout the process.

Role focuses on leading estimates, takeoffs, VE ideas, and market pricing while coordinating with subcontractors and project staffing. Open to discussing compensation based on experience.

Formación

• 5–10 years of experience on commercial projects.
• Proven ability to lead full-cycle estimates.
• Strong knowledge of value engineering and market pricing.
• Experience presenting cost information to clients and architects.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, create, and complete entire project estimates.
• Perform detailed On-Screen Takeoffs.
• Develop preliminary preconstruction schedules.
• Formulate VE ideas and calculate costs.
• Research materials and alternatives.
• Review estimates from the team and ensure accuracy.
• Manage staffing and General Condition requirements.
• Maintain knowledge of current market and unit pricing.
