Job summary

Talent Solutions Partners is seeking an experienced Preconstruction Manager to lead commercial project estimates from start to finish in Columbus, OH. The role focuses on driving the preconstruction phase, building relationships, and presenting critical cost information to clients.

With 5–10 years of experience in commercial projects, you will guide VE ideas, takeoffs, schedules, and subcontractor management while maintaining current market pricing and project staffing requirements.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years experience in commercial projects.
• Proven ability to lead estimates from start to finish.
• Strong presentation skills to convey cost information to clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead, create, and complete entire project estimates.
• Perform detailed On-Screen Takeoffs and cost analyses.
• Develop preliminary preconstruction schedules.
• Formulate VE ideas and calculate costs.
• Research materials and viable alternatives.
• Review and correct team estimates.
• Manage staffing and General Condition requirements.
• Maintain knowledge of current market unit pricing.
• Build and manage Subcontractor bid lists.
• Drive subcontractors to bid and analyze bids.
• Present cost information to Owners and Architects.
