Job summary

SAFEbuilt is seeking a Commercial Electrical Inspector to join our Austin Area team. This role involves performing field inspections on commercial construction projects, reviewing plans, and ensuring code compliance with NEC and local requirements.

Ideal candidates hold a Texas Journeyman or Master Electrician license (ICC certification preferred) and have strong communication skills, meticulous record-keeping, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Texas Journeyman or Master Electrician License required.
• ICC Electrical Inspector Certification preferred.
• Commercial electrical inspection experience.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspections during all phases of commercial electrical construction.
• Read and examine electrical plans, specifications, and construction documents.
• Inspect installations for compliance with applicable electrical codes and approved plans.
• Report violations, prepare inspection reports, and maintain accurate records.
• Perform other related duties as required.
