Job summary

SAFEbuilt is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Electrical Inspector to support a large-scale data center project in El Paso, Texas. This role focuses on field inspections, plan review, and ensuring compliance with electrical codes on a mission-critical construction site.

Candidates should have a Texas license (Journeyman or Master Electrician) and experience in commercial inspections, ideally within data centers, with strong communication and independent work capabilities.

Qualifications

• Texas Journeyman or Master Electrician license required.
• ICC Electrical Inspector Certification preferred.
• Commercial electrical inspection experience required; data center experience preferred.
• Municipal inspection experience preferred; valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspections for all phases of commercial electrical construction.
• Read electrical plans, specs, and construction documents.
• Inspect installations for code compliance with NEC and approved plans.
• Report violations and prepare inspection reports with accurate records.
• Perform related duties as required.
