Job summary

RealREPP, a national full-service recruiting firm, is partnering with a well-established nationwide drywall subcontractor to assist in hiring an experienced Drywall Estimator in Dallas, TX! Relocation available.

Responsibilities include analyzing drawings, performing material take-offs with OST/EDGE, developing bid packages, tracking quantities, soliciting bids from vendors, and presenting estimates to internal teams to ensure timely, accurate project cost projections.

Qualifications

• 3+ years commercial drywall estimating experience.
• Experience with commercial drywall, metal framing, ACT, stucco, EIFS.
• Proficiency with OST or EDGE.
• Ability to manage and prioritize competing deadlines to ensure deadlines are met.
• Local TX market knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes drawings and uses applicable software to perform material take-offs for detailed estimates & provides unit cost pricing
• Assists with developing project updates and bid package estimate documents’ comparison
• Tracks and adjusts quantities as needed
• Solicits bids and partners with vendors to build relationships and obtain quotes
• Reviews RFPs, Basis of Design & drawings to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate
• Presents information and responds to questions from internal departments
