Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics required.
• At least 5 years of related commercial underwriting experience.
• Experience in special assets is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of financial statement fundamentals.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite commercial loans in conformance with Loan Policy, including renewals, modifications, and Loan Reviews.
• Spread and analyze financial information, develop cash flows for borrowers.
• Prepare credit approval memorandums with independent credit quality assessment.
• Analyze and describe credit risks, mitigants, and industry trends.
• Communicate with borrowers, accountants, management and bank staff as needed for credit investigations.
• Prepare Quarterly Reporting and Action Plans.
