Job summary

Guaranty Bank and Trust is seeking a Full-Time Commercial Portfolio Manager to serve as the primary credit and portfolio support partner to a Commercial Loan Officer. You will analyze credit requests, manage portfolios, and ensure timely underwriting and ongoing monitoring.

The role emphasizes collaboration with loan officers, credit leadership, and operations, adhering to loan policies and regulatory standards. Strong analytical and relationship-building skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field is required.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in commercial credit analysis, portfolio management, or commercial banking.
• nCino experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary credit support resource for the assigned Commercial Loan Officer(s).
• Analyze new and existing commercial credit relationships and provide recommendations on structure, terms, covenants, and risk ratings.
• Prepare CAMs for commercial borrowers, including large and complex requests.
• Evaluate borrower and guarantor financial statements, tax returns, cash flow, and liquidity.
• Review third-party reports including appraisals and credit reports.
• Manage an assigned commercial loan portfolio, including covenant tracking and annual reviews.
• Proactively identify emerging risks and mitigate with loan officers.
• Ensure accurate risk ratings and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with Credit Administration, Loan Operations, Treasury, and Compliance throughout the loan lifecycle.
• Train and mentor new employees.
