Qualifications

• Ten years of commercial lending experience with underwriting.
• Proven leadership of underwriting teams.
• Experience analyzing financial statements and credit reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of underwriters as the department grows.
• Manage commercial loan files to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Determine credit risk profiles based on financial analysis and market conditions.
• Prepare loan presentations for approval with accurate deal details.
• Analyze financial statements and build models for scenarios.
• Ensure covenants and documentation are met throughout the loan process.
• Assess credit information including tax returns, appraisals, and industry data.
• Collaborate with VP to manage deal flow and portfolio quality.
